Through RSFI—India’s national governing body since 1955—APRSA is linked to the Federation Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS), the world parent body since 1971, and the Confederation Asian Roller Skating (CARS), founded in 1978. RSFI itself is recognized by the Government of India and the Indian Olympic Association, ensuring that APRSA operates within a framework of national and international credibility.
