Andhra Pradesh Roller Skating Association: Gliding Towards ExcellenceIn the vibrant state of Andhra Pradesh, where tradition meets dynamism, the Andhra Pradesh Roller Skating Association (APRSA) stands as a beacon of sporting excellence and youth empowerment. Established in 2014, APRSA is the officially registered state body for the sport of Roller Skating, affiliated with the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) and recognized by both the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) and the Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association.
A Legacy Rooted in Global Connections
Though young in years, APRSA is deeply connected to a rich legacy. Through RSFI—India’s national governing body since 1955—APRSA is linked to the Federation Internationale de Roller Sports (FIRS), the world parent body since 1971, and the Confederation Asian Roller Skating (CARS), founded in 1978. RSFI itself is recognized by the Government of India and the Indian Olympic Association, ensuring that APRSA operates within a framework of national and international credibility.
Empowering Skaters Beyond the Rink
At APRSA, roller skating is more than a sport—it’s a pathway to opportunity. With unwavering support from SAAP, our skaters receive financial assistance for international competitions, academic recognition, and even public sector employment opportunities. These initiatives reflect our commitment to nurturing talent and celebrating achievement.
Building a Culture of Sportsmanship
Our association thrives on collaboration—with athletes, coaches, institutions, and government bodies. We believe in fostering a culture where discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship are celebrated. Every event we organize, every medal our skaters win, and every life we touch is a testament to our mission: to elevate roller skating in Andhra Pradesh to global heights.
